Introducing JEFFSY MK3: A refined trail bike for every corner of the map.
With the all-new JEFFSY, our goal was clear. We wanted to create a capable, versatile trail bike to handle any terrain you throw at it, and we left no stone unturned in our pursuit of Trail Excellence.
First launched in 2016, JEFFSY is a trailblazer and the first 29″ bike to feature in the YT range. With its fun-loving yet confident ride character, inherent speed, and undisputable value, JEFFSY struck a chord with mountain bikers worldwide. Seven years later, that winning formula has evolved cutting-edge features and velocity-hungry geometry without losing that dose of YT Gravity-inspired DNA that earned its cult-like following.
Far out or nothing: Whatever your adventure, JEFFSY is always the bike to reach for. With 150mm front and 145mm rear travel, it hits the sweet spot for technical, all-around riding, making it a force to be reckoned with on much of the world’s singletrack.
Rarely out of its comfort zone, it brings pace to undulating terrain yet won’t back down from a gnarly line. There’s no catch; JEFFSY is a modern, performance-focused trail bike built to hang up there with the best of ’em before you leave them in your dust.
What is Trail Excellence?
In short, it’s what we search for. It’s our driving aim and the benchmark for trail bike performance, covering everything from the bike’s dialed aesthetic to its full-throttle speed. With JEFFSY MK3, we have achieved it – this is the ultimate expression of Trail Excellence.
What’s changed on the new YT JEFFSY?
For MK3, we went back to the drawing board. From a revised 145mm rear-travel platform to the YT STASH downtube storage, we spared no effort. With this latest JEFFSY, we took everything we loved about the existing model and elevated it to compete and surpass the current crop of trail bikes. Let’s get into it:
Rider Centered Geometry
Balance. Is. Fast. JEFFSY features Rider Centered Geometry to keep the fit dialed, delivering a roomy cockpit and stable, size-specific rear center measurements that cater to the demands of modern trail riding.
Compared to the previous JEFFSY, the reach is 5mm longer, the headtube is 1-degree slacker, and the seat tube is steepened to an elevation-crushing 77 degrees when at the average saddle height for each frame size, alongside size-specific seatstay lengths. The result of all this? Increased balance and control for riders of all heights, especially when you pick up the pace.
YT STASH Downtube Storage
No straps. No Tape. No worries. With the YT STASH storage, we had three goals: Strength, weight, and functionality. As our first step into downtube storage, the YT STASH is the product of thorough testing and experimentation; for us, only the best would do.
By separating the storage unit and bottle cage, we eliminated instability within the system and, through intuitive cable management, removed obstructions for a sleek, polished result. The result? Weatherproof storage that doesn’t compromise frame strength and remains functional, quiet, and weatherproof, ride after ride. You can find this feature on all carbon JEFFSY frames.
Frame Protection
Silence is the sound of speed. The robust, bolt-on downtube guard features a stealthy foam-backing material to eliminate excess, meaning you descend like a ninja even when rocks are flying.
As well as this, our chainstay protection is ribbed for maximum sound-deadening, meaning the only thing you’ll be hearing on the trail is the sound of rubber on dirt.
Silhouette
Taking cues from the CAPRA and SZEPTER models, this bike looks rapid, even at a standstill. But, the sleek lines are more than an aesthetic choice.
Sophisticated and streamlined, this is a premium trail bike, and as well as featuring a distinct YT silhouette, there is a focus on enhancing the user experience.
The frame design features enhanced knee and heel clearance to reduce unwanted contact with the frame, while new cable clamps match the new, cleaner design.
