When two titans of industry come together for the collaboration of the century, you know we had to go hard and celebrate with a hectic launch party. Hosted by the crew at the YT MILL in San Clemente, California, the VANS x YT Industries party welcomed our extended family and friends for an evening of Good Times. Feeling left out? Here’s a round-up of what you missed.

With around 500 people flooding the YT MILL, the Vans x YT Industries launch party marked a historic milestone as the largest YT MILL event to date.
Known for their effortlessly cool vibes and Off the Wall attitude, Vans rocked up and pulled out all the stops. Guests were treated to mouth-watering fresh waffles, ice cream, and an epic haul of swag. The energy was high as Chopper Dave, the iconic skate event DJ, spun tracks, setting the perfect backdrop for what was to unfold.
The highlight of the evening? A sick skate jam, where local skaters showcased their skills and creativity, vying for cash prizes. Among the skaters legends like Dan Rogers, Dane Burman, and the iconic Steve Caballero, adding an extra layer of stoke to the night.
But it wasn’t just about skateboarding. Vans brought along BMX royalty, including Angie Marino, Kevin Paraza, and Gary Young. Meanwhile, YT MOB riders, including Dylan Stark, Anthony Napo, and Aidan Howe, were in the thick of the action, alongside freeride legend Josh Bender, showcasing the diversity of talent in action sports.
Steve Van Doren, carrying on the legacy of his father, Vans founder Paul Van Doren, was a beaming presence.
Local band Citrus Jr. kicked off the evening before the unveiling of the Vans x YT Industries collaboration video, a testament to the spirit of urban street culture shared by both brands. Steve Caballero’s band Urethane closed out the launch party. If you’ve not yet seen the launch video, check it out below or on the YT Industries’ YouTube channel.
Reflecting on the evening, it’s clear that the Vans x YT Industries launch party wasn’t only about showcasing the shoe range; it was about celebrating a shared passion for action sports and the community that surrounds it.
