We’re stoked that the YT JEFFSY CORE 2 scooped The Loam Wolf’s Editor Choice Award for a sub-$3,000 budget mountain bike.
The 150mm all-mountain JEFFSY is a go-to for adventures big and small, or as we call it, the “best friend” platform. The do-anything companion allows you to climb higher, discover the most remote places and stamp downhill at full speed. As with all YT bikes, the all-mountain JEFFSY platform is constructed with our core principles, delivering high-quality performance-focused bikes at an affordable value.

The Loam Wolf, a dedicated pack of mountain bikers on a mission to stoke the spirit of the sport, pitted the YT JEFFSY Core 2 against four other sub-$3,000 mountain bikes. After rigorous testing, and numerous trails taking turns on the best-friend platform, the YT JEFFSY came out victorious for two of the four testers from Loam Wolf, earning it the coveted Editors Choice Award badge. Here’s what the team had to say:
“It is the most expensive bike in our group test, at $2,999, but it also has one of the best-looking chassis and the best suspension package on test.” … “Our testers really liked the finish and aesthetic of the YT JEFFSY CORE 2, stating it was the bike that looked like it cost more like a higher-end bike than some others.”
